"The Power of Purpose: Embracing Your Worthiness in a Profitable World"
“The principal horror of any system which defines the good in terms of profit rather than in terms of human need, or which defines human need to the exclusion of the psychic and emotional components of that need — is that it robs our work of its erotic value, its erotic power and life appeal and fulfillment. Such a system reduces work to a travesty of necessities, a duty by which we earn bread or oblivion for ourselves and those we love. But this is tantamount to blinding a painter and then telling her to improve her work, and to enjoy the act of painting. It is not only next to impossible, it is also profoundly cruel.” — *Audre Lorde, The Uses of the Erotic: The Erotic as Power
Work, in the patriarchal sense, rapes the soul. It stomps all over the essence of truth — the power of our erotic nature — the creative, the ecstatic, and the authentic brilliance of our innate worthiness. To believe that we gain a sense of purpose from working within a top-down system, which shackles imagination and stifles self-expression, is futile.
Purpose Is About Choosing Your Worthiness
When you live your purpose, you are sharing your story. Your story connects you to others.
As human beings, we have a deep-seated need to belong. This need is so inherent to our survival that we often sacrifice the truth of our story for the sake of fairness. We do this to maintain a sense of belonging.
In the name of belonging, we may tell parts of our story, but not all of it. Unfortunately, in hiding parts of ourselves, we communicate to our unconscious that some aspects are not worthy of being seen. This internalization burdens us with untruths like “I am not acceptable,” “I am not welcome,” or “It is not safe to be me.”
I challenge this strategy of “fitting in.” Can you truly belong if you are not embodying your truth?
Who is benefiting if you sacrifice parts of your story and truth?
We have been taught that our worthiness ties to productivity or that our value stems from what we do. Anything outside the structure of productive "work" is often judged as meaningless.
Proclaiming Worthiness As Outcome Dependent Demeans Your Divine Nature
Working to achieve purpose is not authentic. Measuring worth based on how much and how hard you perform is a distasteful distraction. There is so much inherently wrong with this belief.
What I encourage you to step into is being on purpose. This means understanding that your worthiness connects to fully expressing what makes you come alive. Commit to being in ecstatic excellence—emotionally, spiritually, intellectually, and physically.
Your worthiness is inherent. You need nothing more than to be your erotic self.
Tell your naked story — all of its delicious layers — knowing that the totality of it is worthy of being seen. It's not about what you do— it's about being true.
On purpose. For pleasure.
Illuminate your erotic life force energy. Make the difference you are meant to make — because you’re worth it!

The Importance of Community and Connection
Living your purpose requires connection. We are social creatures by nature. Our stories intertwine, helping us relate to one another. When we share our truths, we inspire others to do the same. This shared vulnerability fosters deep connections and creates a strong community.
Belonging can be an act of bravery. It encourages everyone to express their authenticity, contributing to a more vibrant world.
The Journey Toward Authentic Living
The journey towards finding and living your purpose is ongoing. It's not a destination, but rather a path filled with growth and transformation. Embrace the process. Cherish the moments of uncertainty.
Each step taken toward your truth is valuable. It's an opportunity to discover more about yourself and the world around you.
Unleashing Your Full Potential
Remember, you hold the power to claim your worth. When you embrace your erotic nature, you unleash your full potential.
Rather than focusing on productivity, prioritize joy and fulfillment. Nurturing your passions leads to richer experiences and a deeper understanding of your true self.
Final Thoughts
As you navigate this life, keep in mind that your story is worth sharing. Every layer contributes to the richness of your purpose. Embrace each part of yourself because every part is worthy.
